Respite Services:
At the New York Youth Support Program located in Valley Stream, NY, our mission is to effect positive change one child at a time. We offer comprehensive services to children and families from underserved communities, aiming to provide a supportive foundation for underprivileged youth. Many of the children we assist face academic challenges or are placed in unsuitable educational environments..
- Recreational activities

- Transportation to school, medical appointments, and program-related activities
Our professional staff is trained to deliver respite care both on a scheduled and emergency basis, during daytime hours, either in the child's home or within the community. This care may be provided individually to one waiver child or collectively to a group of waiver children.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR):
Our PSR program empowers children to succeed at home, within their community, and in educational settings by developing key social and environmental skills. We provide a diverse range of support activities that aid in:

- • Navigating public transportation, medical appointments, and program-related activities
- • Improving organizational skills
- • Building peer relationships
- • Developing problem-solving abilities

Additionally, our services extend to family members, equipping them with the necessary tools to support their child's ongoing development. For specific clients who require further assistance, we offer tutoring services to address academic challenges
Community Psychiatric
Support Treatment Service (CPSTS):
Our (CPSTS) service provides continuous, targeted intervention that supports both the child and family in implementing their clinical treatment and waiver service plans, as outlined by their waiver program. This service is aimed at reinforcing desired behavioral or cognitive improvements by helping the child and their family apply these changes in daily life. Key focus areas include:

De-escalating crises
